NEEDCOM: What have you observed about who gives you money and who doesn't give you money? RICHARD W: Well, I tell you, it works on both scales. You find people that are very wealthylook very wealthy, wearing pearlsain't going to give you nothing, driving a Rolls Royce. And then you find some people that's ... ordinary people will be glad to help you, 'cause they have been in a situation like this, so they know what it's all about. NEEDCOM: So do you think that people who might have experienced hard times before are more likely RICHARD W: More generous, yes. NEEDCOM: Do you think people that look rich tend to be stingier? STEVE: Yeah. NEEDCOM: What about people who STEVE: Dress like you and me? They give you money. 'Cause they know how it is to get laid off and be looking for a job. People middle class don't worry about it 'cause they think they're set with a job. They don't have to worry about losing their job. But if they lose their job, they'd blow themselves in their head, they'd kill themselves. You know how to survive, but they wouldn't know how to survive if they lost their sixty, seventy thousand dollar job. Yeah, they're like that! NEEDCOM: You think they can't relate. STEVE: No, they can't relate.
