The bond between a wild animal and a human is so rare and at a certain level spiritual - thank god for people like Simon who demonstrate this to us and teach us to have a different perspective on other species - not only can we as humans understand and love them , but I believe we leave an impact on their understanding of us in a positive way- unfortunately this is too rare and lacking financial investment to have a substantial effect on our world.

I watched this show on Nov 4th as well.. I was crying my balls out through out the show and felt so sorry for Sambu..But I'm glad that Toki is still alive and hopefully he can find his perfect match soon..definitely i don't want to see him spending the rest of his life alone... Thank you, Simon for your love & constant caring for this animal... May god bless you and toki and all those animals ...

I am an animal lover and I have always believed in the theory that God created all living beings. God really out did himself when he created the natural world. I would have loved to have been there with Simon and his friends to help them with Sambu & Toki. God bless to all who feels the way I do.

I love animals more than anything, but I don't watch these types of programs because something sad always happens. I was flipping through the channels when I landed on this, and had to return because I think that cheetah cubs are the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Then I got hooked watching the program. I have to say, the sad parts have a huge effect on me. I was in a funk for at least 24 hours thinking about Sambu. I'm trying to focus on the fact that Toki is alive and well thanks to Simon and others who are concerned for the well being of these precious animals. I will continue to pray for Simon and the success of his unselfish efforts, and for the safety of all animals.

My husband and our two young boys watched this show last night and were transfixed. The relationship between Simon and the cheetahs was so touching. He was like a true parent - worried and concerned, but recongizing that he had to let go. We cried, we laughed and we looked at our two domestic cats lying at the end of our bed in a different light. Thank you Simon for sharing your beautiful story.
