CALL THE MIDWIFE Receives a BAFTA Television Award Nomination

CALL THE MIDWIFE HOLIDAY SPECIAL will also be honored at the 64th Annual Christopher Awards

On April 9, the British Academy of Film & Television Arts announced the nominees for the British Academy Television Awards to honor the top talent from television. The PBS program, CALL THE MIDWIFE received a nomination in the Television/ Radio Times Audience category.

Winners will be announced at a ceremony held at on Sunday, May 12, 2013.

In addition, CALL THE MIDWIFE HOLIDAY SPECIAL will be honored with a Christopher Award - who is presented to those who affirm the highest values of the human spirit. Christopher Awards will be presented in New York City on May 23, 2013.

PBS congratulates CALL THE MIDWIFE, BBC One and Neal Street Productions on their BAFTA Award nomination and Christopher Award!
