PBS HONORED WITH 38 AWARDS AT THE 47TH ANNUAL TELLY AWARDS

Arlington, VA; May 21, 2026 – PBS received 38 wins from the Telly Awards Judging Council at the 47th Annual Telly Awards, honoring excellence in video and television across all screens. Among these honors, PBS received 10 wins, PBS KIDS 4, PBS Digital Studios 9, PBS’s Creative Services team 9, PBS’s Digital & Marketing team 1, and PBS’s Social Media team 1.

In addition, PBS entries received four People’s Telly Awards, a special audience-voted category within the Telly Awards that allows viewers worldwide to select work they find most impactful, creative, and engaging. These honors include a Gold for ISLAM’S GREATEST STORIES OF LOVE; Silver awards for SKILLSVILLE “Astronaut” and BECOMING THURGOOD: AMERICA’S SOCIAL ARCHITECT; and a Bronze for Spring Dramas on PBS “Royals” promotional video.

Across the system, PBS’s local member stations also received notable recognition this year, earning multiple wins across a wide range of Telly Awards and People’s Telly Awards categories for outstanding work.

Under this year’s theme, “Capture the Original,” the Telly Awards received nearly 14,000 entries from 55 countries – the highest in its history – celebrating creators, brands, and producers around the world for their authentic creative work. From television and film to digital campaigns and social video series, PBS’s wins reflect its commitment to outstanding creativity, production quality, and storytelling.
