PBS WINS TWO PEABODYS; HONORED WITH EIGHT NOMINATIONS FOR THE 86TH ANNUAL PEABODY AWARDS

**UPDATED** Arlington, VA; April 24, 2026 – PBS has been honored with two wins for PBS NEWS HOUR and FRONTLINE by the Peabody Awards Board of Jurors for the 86th Annual Peabody Awards, recognizing excellence across the Documentary, News, Public Service, and Radio/Podcast categories.

This year also marks a significant milestone for PBS KIDS, as The Peabody Awards Board of Jurors announced that it will receive the Peabody Institutional Award. This honor recognizes PBS KIDS for nearly three decades of leadership in educational media and for creating high-quality content for young audiences.

The 86th Annual Peabody Awards winners will be recognized on Sunday, May 31, at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles, CA.

PBS is grateful to be recognized by The Peabody Awards Board of Jurors. Many of the winning and nominated programs are available to stream on PBS.org and the PBS App.
