January 7, 2025; Arlington, VA - The 56th NAACP Image Award Nominees were announced today, celebrating exceptional Black excellence across film, television, music, and literature. PBS was honored with seven nominations, including two for FINDNG YOUR ROOTS WITH HENRY LOUIS GATES, JR. and two upcoming AMERICAN MASTERS "In The Making" Season 3 episodes.
Winners will be revealed over two days; streaming live Friday, Feb. 21, at the Creative Honors Ceremonies on NAACPImageAwards.net, and on Saturday, Feb. 22, during a two-hour live TV special, airing at 8 p.m. ET on BET and CBS.
