ARLINGTON, VA; January 28, 2026— PBS today announced the appointment of Scott Nourse as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role, Nourse will lead PBS’s technology strategy and operations, overseeing the teams and platforms that power digital services, broadcast infrastructure, and innovation across the public media system.
Nourse brings extensive experience in large-scale technology leadership, digital transformation, and platform development. As CTO, he will be responsible for advancing PBS’s technology vision, strengthening reliability and security, and ensuring alignment with the PBS mission.
“Scott is a proven technology leader who will help PBS and its member stations remain a hub for innovators who find fresh ways to serve audiences content that entertains and inspires them,” said Paula Kerger, PBS President and CEO. “His leadership will be instrumental as PBS continues to evolve its digital platforms, support system leaders, and deliver for audiences nationwide.”
Prior to joining PBS in 2015, he led Product Operations at Sony Pictures Interactive and worked for many years in digital agencies managing creative services for clients such as Visa USA, Turner Network Television, American Movie Classics, and the United States Postal Service.
