**UPDATED**Arlington, VA; June 27, 2025 — The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the winners for the 46th News and Documentary Emmy® Awards in two individual ceremonies June 25th and 26th at Palladium Times Square in New York City. PBS won three total awards for FRONTLINE and NOVA (in bolded blue below).
PBS received the second most nominations this year, with 37 total News and Documentary nominations, including four out of the seven Outstanding Nature Documentary category nominations. PBS programs receiving nominations include FRONTLINE (10), POV (7), AMERICAN EXPERIENCE (6), NATURE (5), NEWSHOUR (3), INDEPENDENT LENS (2), NOVA (1), DEADLOCK: AN ELECTION STORY (1), HOPE IN THE WATER (1), CITIZEN NATION (1); a complete list of PBS nominations and wins is below.
