**UPDATED** Arlington, VA; August 22, 2025 —The Imagen Foundation announced the winners for its 40th annual Imagen Awards, celebrating the power of storytelling, community, and the richness of Latino talent shaping the entertainment industry. VOCES American Historia, featuring John Leguizamo, won Best Special or Television Movie. PBS received seven total nominations including PBS KIDS’ Alma’s Way for Best Youth Programming, VOCES programs, and a POV Shorts nomination. PBS continues to be a home for diverse and educational storytelling, while celebrating the communities we serve.
