PBS RECIEVES NINE IMAGEN AWARD NOMINATIONS

August 15, 2022; Arlington, VA – The Imagen Foundation announced the nominees for the 37th Imagen Awards, recognizing and celebrating the positive portrayals of Latinos in film and television. This year’s nominees, determined by an independent panel of entertainment industry executives and Latino community leaders, reflect the most impactful storytelling, performances, writing, and creative expression from over 400 submissions.  

PBS received nine nominations, including four out of the six nominations in the “Best Documentary” category. PBS continues to be committed to serving the diverse communities of our country and celebrating the cultures that make it so unique. 

The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, October 2, in Los Angeles at LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes.
