PBS RECOGNIZED WITH 21 WEBBY NOMINATIONS AND 9 HONOREES

Arlington, VA; April 1, 2025 -- PBS is in contention to be named Webby Awards Media Company of The Year, for the second year in a row. The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADAS) announced the Nominees for the 29th Annual Webby Awards, honoring the best in digital innovation and creativity. PBS received 21 Webby nominations, among the top 12% of digital work in 2025. PBS programs and partners also made up 9 honorees, included in the top 25% of Webby entrants.  

Nominees can win The Webby Award, chosen by the IADAS judging academy and/or the Webby People’s Voice Award, voted on by the public.  

Voting in the Webby People’s Voice Awards is now open through Thursday, April 17th at 11:59pm PST. This year, the 29th Annual Webby Winners will be celebrated during a star-studded, show hosted at Cipriani Wall Street on Monday, May 12th.
