Ranking as the second-most nominated organization of 2026, PBS is named a finalist for Media Company of the Year for the third year running.

Arlington, VA; March 31, 2026 – For the third consecutive year, PBS has been named a finalist for the Webby Media Company of the Year award, reaffirming that trusted, community-minded storytelling continues to thrive in the digital landscape. The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADAS) announced the 30th Annual Webby Award Nominees, recognizing the year’s best in digital creativity, innovation, and impact.

PBS reached a new milestone this year with 29 Webby nominations—the second-highest total awarded to any organization in 2026—placing its content in the top 17% of all entries. PBS programs and partners also received 6 Honoree designations across various categories, including Podcasts, Social, and Games.

This recognition comes in the wake of PBS being honored as one of the Webby’s 30 Most Iconic Companies in Internet History in September 2025, recognizing PBS’s pioneering role and commitment to evolving public media for the digital age.

Winners will be honored with The Webby Award, selected by the IADAS academy, and the Webby People’s Voice Award, decided by the global voting public. Voting for the People’s Voice Awards is open now through Thursday, April 16, at 11:59 p.m. PST. Viewers and members can support PBS nominees by voting here and through the links below.

Marking its milestone 30th anniversary, the Webby Awards will return to its longtime home at Cipriani Wall Street in New York on Monday, May 11.

PBS congratulates all our talented Nominees and Honorees!
