PBS’s LA FRONTERA with PATI JINICH WINS JAMES BEARD BROADCAST MEDIA AWARD

Arlington, VA; June 10, 2023 -- The James Beard Foundation® announced the winners of the 2024 James Beard Media Awards, honoring the nation’s top food authors, broadcast producers, hosts, journalists, podcasters, and social media content creators. PBS’s LA FRONTERA WITH PATI JINICH, SEASON 2, won a Broadcast Media Award in the Best Docuseries Visual Media category. The Broadcast Media Awards recognize non-fiction works in English covering food and beverage topics and appearing widely for the first time in the United States in 2023.  The Docuseries Visual Media Award specifically recognizes excellence in food-related docuseries production.  Judges look for content, originality, high production values, and a fresh perspective on food and beverage related topics.
