Have so much fun with a birthday party inspired by “Alma’s Way!” This party pack features free printables, decoration ideas, recipes, and more!

Throw a festive and fun birthday party inspired by “Alma’s Way!” This party features bright and colorful decorations, Latin-inspired food, and plenty of activities that encourage friendship and creativity. The party will kick off with guests adding a birthday message to a chalk art mural, followed by games of Pin the Coquí on the Leaf and Musical Chairs! Satisfy hungry children with a tropical fruit fiesta salad and piragua-inspired punch. Top it all off by singing “Happy Birthday” over candles on a Tres Leches cake!

Timeline

Plan Ahead

3 Days Prior: Make the paper pom pom garland and cake topper (2 hours).

2 Days Prior: Gather all ingredients for the cake, the fruit salad, and the piragua punch (1 hour). Also gather the supplies for the photo frames.

1 Day Prior: Create the Pin the Coquí on the Leaf game (1 hour). Make the cake (1 hour). Prep the chalk art banner materials (10 minutes).

Day-Of: Slice fruit, and set up piragua punch bar. Add candles to cake. Set up game. Set up chalk art.

At the Party

  1. Collect birthday messages on a chalk-tastic banner as guests arrive!

  2. Make some noise with a game of musical chairs
