Peg + Cat Party
Peg and Cat are SO excited to help you celebrate your child's birthday. From invitations to geometric decorations and number snacks to musical crafts, our free Peg + Cat preschool party pack offers a step-by-step guide for your upcoming birthday celebration. Planning ahead will be critical to keep up with your three, four and five year old guests, so mark your calendar, check off the days and let the countdown begin to a mathematical and musical party adventure.
Party Planning Timeline
3-4 weeks before the party: Send out your invitations. Ask people to RSVP at least one week before the party to help you plan for food and supplies.
2 weeks before the party: Make a list of everything you need to buy or make for the party.
1 week before the party: Shop for, print and prepare any non-perishable items. Make it a group effort by encouraging your child to help with the decorations if the party isn't a surprise.
A few days before the party: Finish making any decorations and party games or favors. Confirm RSVPs.
The day before the party: Bake and decorate (or pick up) the fabulous Peg cake. If your party is inside, go ahead and hang up decorations and set up party stations. If your party is outside, schedule time the morning of the party to set up decorations and activity stations.
The day of the party: Set out food and grab your camera. With all of the preparation set, you are ready to start the party. We suggest the following order of activities to help the day go smoothly. Let's party!
