Working Together
Learning how to work together and cooperate with others is a key skill that is important both at home and at school, from early childhood through adulthood.
At home, children can practice taking turns and sharing with a sibling or playmate, contributing to the household by doing simple chores, and participating in conversations to experience the back and forth of language and communication. Family gatherings or group playdates are a great time to explore how teamwork and working together as a large group can help accomplish even bigger tasks!
As your child practices working together, they can also practice other important skills such as listening to others and learning appropriate ways to communicate and resolve conflict.
