Estuaries in the Balance: Freshwater Nurseries of Lake Superior

Ecologically vital estuaries are among the most endangered environments on the planet. The film documents two iconic Great Lakes estuaries. One, celebrated internationally as pristine, has been sustained by the Bad River Band of Ojibwe. The other, recovering from decades of industrial pollution, is the heart of the Fond du Lac Band of Ojibwe's traditional homeland. Both face an uncertain future.
