Kimberly's Reef: An Underwater Living Laboratory

Kimberly's Reef: An Underwater Living Laboratory

There’s a remarkable experiment unfolding beneath the waters of Southwest Florida. Kimberly’s Reef, created by FGCU’s The Water School, is part underwater laboratory, part classroom and part living ecosystem. WGCU followed its journey for more than three years, from design and deployment to the marine life now transforming this man-made structure into something very much alive.
