Debra Carnahan

Debra Carnahan is a former municipal judge and prosecuter who sat on the national board of Planned Parenthood. She worked alongside her husband, Russ Carnahan, who served as the U.S. Representative for Missouri's 3rd congressional district from 2005 to 2013. Together they advocated for funding devoted to family planning abroad.
After graduating from the University of Missouri, Debra went on to law school. She and her husband practiced law together at a firm in Rolla. At that time, she got involved with the local Planned Parenthood, followed by a post on the statewide board.
