Larry Bowers is a model ship builder who creates his work from scratch rather than from a model kit. His current project is a fireboat. Restoring the iconic painting “Freeman Homestead Cabin” painted by Gusto Strohm. The holidays arrived a little early in David City. A husband and wife in North Omaha who created a series of 80 ceramic mosaic murals featuring early pioneers in jazz and blues.
