NEXT MONDAY MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WILL LOOK TO THE SKIES FOR FIREWORKS, BUT SINCE Y ALL ARE DOING IT ALREADY WHY NOT KEEP LOOKIN UP?
LET S USE THESE DARK SKIES AROUND THE 4TH TO FIND THREE SUMMER CONSTELLATIONS.
IF YOU HIT THE DARKNESS ANY NIGHT THIS WEEK AND LOOK SOUTH YOU LL SEE THE FISH-HOOK-SHAPED CONSTELLATION OF SCORPIO THE SCORPION, WITH BRIGHT RED ANTARES AT ITS HEART.
TO THE RIGHT, YOU LL SEE BRIGHT BLUE SPICA IN THE CONSTELLATION VIRGO, THE MAIDEN.
LIBRA IS IN-BETWEEN THOSE.
IT MIGHT SEEM A BIT DARK BUT IF YOU RE OUTSIDE FOR A BIT YOU SHOULD SEE A PAIR OF STARS NAMED ZUBENELGENUBI AND ZUBENESCHAMALI.
THESE STARS WERE ORIGINALLY PART OF SCORPIO, BUT THE ROMANS DECIDED TO SHOW OFF THEIR JUSTICE IN THE SKY CREATING THE SCALES OF LIBRA.
TODAY, WE CAN LOOK UP AND BE REMINDED THAT CHANGE HAPPENS AND THE HOPE FOR JUSTICE IS WRITTEN IN THE STARS!
KEEP LOOKIN UP!
