This weekend is the anniversary of the first time that humans landed on the Moon.

- So you Earthies landed on the Moon just recently?

- Well, 50 years ago.

It was called the Apollo mission.

Nine trips to the Moon in giant rockets!

31 brave Apollo astronauts, and some of them walked on the Moon!

The first one was Neil Armstrong.

When he stepped on the Moon, he said: - That's one small step for man... both: "One giant leap for mankind."

They stayed there in this little pod overnight.

- Wow, an astronaut sleepover?

- And then the pod blasted off and flew back up into space, where they hooked up with the command module, and they all flew back home and returned safely to Earth.

What an achievement.

Maybe the greatest thing we've ever accomplished in the history of our planet!

- Wait.

Isn't space travel super easy?

- Well, no, actually, it isn't.

I mean, for us, it's easy because Jet's family has technology from Bortron 7.

[horn honks] - Right!

We can zip around the solar system with interstellar overdrive.

- But the Apollo astronauts didn't have that.

They just had good old-fashioned rockets and lots of brainpower and teamwork.

- Yeah, they called it "the right stuff."
