It was my mother's grandmother's.
APPRAISER: I can tell you a little bit about the history of it.
The motif on it-- scarab beetles, set with little ruby eyes and emerald heads, and uh a pretty, French-cut sapphire body-- tells us when it was made.
French-cut sapphires and French-cut stones were cut in the 1920s.
A value on this at auction would be anywhere between $5,000 to $7,000.
