He had a collection and when he passed away me and my brothers and sisters got to split it.
This is one of the ones I chose and he always would call it the "palace phone."
The guy he got it from told him it was from the palace.
APPRAISER: We do have to debunk a little story, there are multiples of these.
GUEST: Okay.
APPRAISER: But you have a good eye because you picked a wicked rare phone I'm telling you right now yes this was manufactured by the Elektrisk Bureau which was a Norwegian telephone company founded in 1882.
This is the fully loaded option this is the cat's meow all the bells and whistles literally no pun intended.
You have this great cast metal front around the back of it is decorated with this awesome guilt pin work.
You have an extremely rare phone where in this shape at auction today it would easily be in the $2,000 to $3,000 range.
