With touch of finger, bus riders learn about traffic, places to shop and places to eat
VIA Metropolitan Transit is rolling out smart kiosks, called IKE, which stands for Interactive Kiosk Experience. Similar to iPads, the digital tech will be at special kiosks around town, with riders able to access them with the touch of a finger. The kiosks will provide information on real-time traffic, places to shop and places to eat. VIA also plans a new ride-share for suburban riders.
