Bay Area Bountiful: Carbon & Compost
9/5/2019 | 28m 1sVideo has Closed Captions
In this regional Emmy-nominated episode, we explore carbon and compost.
When most of us think about the relationship between carbon in the atmosphere and climate change, we think about the burning of fossil fuels. But a third of the carbon in our atmosphere today used to be trapped in the topsoil. Returning some of that carbon into the soil through compost application and rotational grazing improves soil health and removes carbon from the atmosphere.
