It's my new bed.
That doesn't look like a bed to me.
Yeah, it's just a bunch of lower case letters.
Well, that's because I haven't built it yet.
But the letters "B," "E," and "D" are all we need to build a bed.
But how do you know which letter goes first?
We'll just sound it out.
Sound it out.
What does that mean?
That means saying the sound of the letters one by one and then using the sounds to make a word.
B-E-D. "Buh," "eh," "de."
Bed.
This is the "E," I can tell that, but which is the "B" and which is the "D" again?
This one's the letter "B."
No, that's the "D" and this is the "B."
Or is that the "B" and this is the "D?"
I can't-- I can't tell!
The "B" and "D" look an awful lot alike.
They sure do.
But I'll show you a way to tell them apart.

♪ Which is the "B" ♪ ♪ Here's a trick that's great ♪ ♪ First is a line ♪ ♪ Standing tall and straight ♪ ♪ Next is a circle like a pillow for your head ♪ ♪ That's the "B" ♪ ♪ The first letter in bed... ♪ Hmm.

If Frog comes back and sees that we broke his bed, he won't be happy.
I don't want Frog to be unhappy.
There's only one thing for us to do.

We need to rebuild the word "bed" before Frog gets back.
B-E-D. "Buh," "eh," "de."
Here's the "E." It goes in the middle.
And this is the first letter.
The letter "B."
That's not the "B."
I have the "B."

Uh, maybe.

I don't know.
The letter "B" and the letter "D" both look the same to me.
Pardon me, boys, but what about Frog's song?

It tells us the difference between the letters "B" and "D." Remember?

I know a way to tell the letters apart.
This nose can sniff out which letter is which.
All right, so stand back and watch a professional sniffer at work.

That's not how you tell the letter "D" from the letter "B."

Ugh.
It tastes like yuck.

Ew.
Excuse me, boys, but all we have to do is sing the song that Frog taught us.

That-that won't help us.
But I know what will.
The way to find out which letter is which is to ask them to dance with you.
Now-now-now watch this.
I call this "The Letter "B" Boogie."
When the letter "B" sees this, it'll jump up and boogie with me.
Boo-boo-boogie!
Maybe the letter "B" doesn't like to boogie, but I know the letter "D" will want to dance.
Da-da-dance!
Come on, letter "B," let's boogie!
Uh-oh.

Well, that didn't work.

There's only one thing left to do.

We're going to tickle them until they tell us which one is the "B" and which one is the "D." Watch this!

NARRATOR: Ooh.

(laughs) (laughing) (croaks) (strained grunting) (yelps) Oh, water... Yuck.

(laughs) Almost got you!
(Frog's tongue unreeling) BUG: Whoa, close one.
(laughs) (frustrated groan) NARRATOR: By the end of the game, Frog had become quite sleepy.
(Frog yawning) Good night, Bug.
But Bug was wide awake.
Yeah!
That's right!
Now I can't sleep!
Well, sure you can, Bug.
Everybody needs sleep.
You just need to get snug.
Bugs love being snug.
Um... What's "snug" mean?
Oh, you know... comfy cozy.

Well, the thing is, Frog couldn't sleep, so we decided to play a game of tag and he was sleepy, but I wasn't, so here we are.

Uh... Bug, let me explain.
Bear, have you ever heard the rhyme, "Snug as a bug in a..."?

In a... And don't say "mug."
We already tried that.
Uh... (gasps): In a hug!
Yeah!
Snug as a bug in a hug.
Yeah.
Like a bear hug.
"Hug" definitely rhymes with "ug."
