You're going to convert me into my alter ego today, right?
Okay.
This is.
I'm excited.
So you've been here a long time.
How long years?
You've been doing makeup?
18 years.
When you're in season here, you've got six weeks where you're making up how many people on a daily basis.
We have to for here.
We have to get about 110 people ready per night.
Makeup, hair, costumes, contacts, teeth, everything.
So we're very busy.
How much variety is there?
Is the same character going is the same?
It's the same at the same costume.
So it keeps us on our toes for sure.
But for the most part, people do stay their character.
But things happen.
Sometimes you have to switch.
Sometimes you have to change the middle of the night, think things happen.
So we always just stay prepared for the what ifs.
Is there a particular set of creative skills that you look for in somebody who joins?
I require that everybody here does airbrush makeup because we have such limited on time.
The airbrush is the fastest to do certain things with.
If we did everything by hand and painted everything, we would be here all night.
So airbrush is very important to me.
I won't hire anybody that has not done something with an airbrush.
So, what are you going to turn me into this evening?
As I'll be as on me.
Okay.
All right.
And how long is that going to take you?
I'm probably 15 ish minutes.
We're going to do two transfers, which we do prosthetics and we do transfers.
Prosthetic is a foam latex piece, and then prosthetics are made up prosaic, which is very easy to do.
It looks just like skin.
It's it's something that we use a lot of since we're limited on time.
Can you stop me looking 57 years old?
Yes, absolutely.
And then when I came to, like, 200.
Perfect.
Okay, well, let's get started.
Let's do it.
Yes.
Our Cerebus.
How do I look?
Amazing.
Do I do I look ready?
You don't say that to all the zombies.
Yeah, she.
She's a professional.
Sarah Brown, thank you for the makeup, Grace.
Thank you for the hair.
Thank you for getting us into the spirit of this.
We are ready for the season, and we are ready for art rocks.
