Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorship- Hi, I'm Ted from Bike Pittsburgh and this is my Teachable Moment.
I bet you're having some trouble seeing me right now.
Did you know it's against the law and very dangerous to ride at night without lights and reflectors?
Let's see what we can do about that.
You can make some changes to your bike like adding a white front light and a red rear light or reflector.
Next, wear high-vis clothing and you can add reflective ankle straps or reflective stickers.
Wow, what a difference that makes.
You can also carry a flashlight when you're walking at night.
When you ride or walk during the day, bright colors also will make you more visible.
Next time you're hitting the trail or even walking around the block, stay safe and be seen.
You can find out more about lights and other educational tips at BikePGH.org.
