- Confetti can be anything you want.
It's little bits of joy that you can scatter on the table, carry in your pocket, or even throw it in the air.
It can be any size, shape, or color.
I don't just like to celebrate with confetti, I like to make art with it too.
Check this out.
(Albie gasping) - Oh.
- The first thing I do when I start a new project is gather my materials.
I usually use paper.
Sometimes, I use shiny patterned paper.
Sometimes, I use solid color paper.
Sometimes, I may even use things that end up in the trash, like the box that holds your tissues.
This is my hole punch.
When you push it together, (hole punch clicking) it presses through and I make my circles.
- Whoa.
- Once I have my circles punched, I use a needle and thread and I stitch them together.
This can take a little bit of time, but I find it very relaxing, especially because I usually work with very bright colors.
When my circles are all assembled, I put them together and it looks something a little bit like this.
When I have enough of these squares, then I put those together to make even bigger pieces of artwork.
That piece took a really long time to make.
- This is perfect!
