Reyna, I love this color.
Alright, the next thing we're gonna need is heat, fire.
So everybody, take a step back.
Let's make some glass art.
(Albie ahhing) I'm beginning by adding some of this blue glass color to this glass tube.
Now, I'm gonna pull it just above the fire to blow into it to begin to make the bubble.
Right now, I'm just adding little bits of glass to help this stretch in an interesting shape.
Working with fire can be a little bit dangerous, but I take a lot of precautions, and I've practiced this for years and years.

- [Eli] But, Dad!
- Albie wanted a bubble!
- Right.
Got a little carried away with that last one.
But we're gonna make a bubble, we'll start the same way by wrapping a little bit of clear glass around the outside of this tube.
Working with glass makes me feel really happy, and I like just being able to move around and learn all the different things that glass can do, or think about all the different color combinations, and sizes, and shapes, that I can make.
Then I'll take it just a little bit out of the fire to blow and add air into it so the glass expands into a bubble.
- Wow.
- But I'm gonna use the fire to cut the bubble away from the tube that it was made on.
Pull it apart like this, and then I'll flatten the bubble by sitting it down on this graphite pad over here.
Alright, Albie, this should be a really strong, tough bubble, and really hard to break.
(glass shattering) (both gasping) Oops.
