It’s like we’re camping out in the wild jungle, Sally!

(Giggling) (Yawning) I’m sleepy after exploring all that jungle.
Me, too.
(Groaning) But it’s-- it not very comfy in here!
Yeah, the floor’s too hard!
A hard floor is such a bore!

You need to make your bed in a different way.
How?
My friend Gordon, the gorilla, lives in the jungles of Twisty Misty Mountain.
He knows all about building beds.
Is he a giant, scary gorilla?
Gordon?
No, he’s a real softie.
Just like his bed!
Can we go meet him in the jungle?
Of course you can!
Your mother will not mind at all if you do!
(Giggling) Mom, can you hear me?
NICK’S MOM: Loud and clear!
Can Sally and I go to Twisty Misty Mountain to meet a gorilla and learn how to make comfy beds?
(Nick’s mom laughing) NICK’S MOM: At Twisty Misty Mountain?
Roger that, have fun!

(Laughing) Over!

(Gordon snorting) Whoa!
(Grunting, beating chest) BOTH: Ahhh!
(Howling) Gordon, how are ya?

And I brought my friends Nick and Sally-- Nick?

(Laughing) I only do it to scare away strangers.

(Sighing) Mmm, the leaves make it fluffy and soft.
I told you my dad was the best nest-builder ever!

Now, we need to make the other nest.
Before it gets dark and Mom comes home!

Mom and the kids like to sleep up there in the tree.
NICK: Cool!

(Grunting) (Laughing, grunting) He breaks the branches, and... oh!

(Whistling) Hello!
(Chittering) Cat, choose your branch.
Hmm, what about that one.
(Things chittering) How are we going to climb up to our branch?
Hop on my back, and I’ll swing you up.

(Grunting) Mmm, ah!
These branches are easy to bend.
That gives our nest a good start.
I’ve got more twigs and leaves!

(Thing 2 and 1 grunting) (Cat sighing) Gee, I like hard work.
I could watch it all day.
(Thing 2 and Thing 1 talking incoherently) We are getting great at building gorilla nests!

Remember to flatten it down, and make sure it’s strong and safe.

It’s really quite clever, I’m sure you’ll agree, how a gorilla builds a nest on the ground and in a tree.
Their nests are such comfy, warm, cozy beds, made from twigs and leaves, all soft for their heads.
I’m building my own gorilla nest, out of pillows and blankets.
