For a fun twist on the classic macaron, sub pistachio flour for the traditional almond.
Picking from a vast array of pastel macarons is almost as fun as tasting them. But the flavors of the cookies are dictated entirely by the filling—all traditional macaron shells are made with the same base recipe. These guys are different. We substitute pistachio flour for the traditional almond and fill with a pistachio-flavored riff on Nutella for a fun twist on the classic cookie.
