And I collect a variety of things, but most specifically Monster High dolls.
When I was around 8 or 9, I saw a commercial around Halloween for these weird dolls that were scary.
And I was like, well, that's scary.
I don't like that.
And then no, that's scary.
I do like that.
Wicked style so good.
It's scary.
Monster High dolls each sold separately.
I have around 300.
I always collect one of every character, the first iteration of each.
And then I just kept doing that.
My whole family became involved with where if we couldn't find one, we would go to all the neighboring Walmarts, Targets, Toys"R"Us back when that was a thing.
Even Kmart, to try to find that specific doll.
I've also gotten into restoration.
So like I've gone through and make them as perfect as possible and stuff.
They were all like for playing with, I would say, when I was younger.
And then once I was in high school, it became more of, oh, this is embarrassing.
I'm just going to put them in storage.
And once they got back to college, I was like, no, these are cool.
And I brought them all back out and made them all nice.
A lot of the ones that you get now are specifically collectors items ones.
And those are the top shelf ones.
Those are more expensive and harder to get.
But those are maybe once every other month or something like that.
I've had the idea for the music venue since around October of 2025.
Eventually, I was like, OK, I can fit this all in my basement if I'm really organized about it.
And make sure that the dolls are separate from the music, so people don't knock them over or anything.
I was trying to think of a name.
Like, what should I call it?
And I'm like, well, I have a bunch of dolls dollhouse.
I think it kind of represents how I was preteen and teen years and somewhat to now where it's generally alternative, I guess.
And one of the phrases, they say is like freaky, fabulous.
And I feel like that's really fun.
It's different.
And it's great that I can express myself in that way and be able to how these characters I grew up with.
