Remains of former residents of the Fairview Training Center finally come home to family.

Fairview Training Center was the state’s main institution for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Thousands of residents lived their entire lives within the institution walls, away from their loved ones. For many, when they died, their remains were left unclaimed and forgotten. Now, some of those former residents are finally making it home.
