Today I'll be demonstrating how to dance salsa.

For me, dancing is essential for my mental health and mobility.

First, we're going to listen to the song and clap to the beat.

Clap along with me.

(Laura claps rhythmically) Now, feel it with your shoulders.

(salsa music) Now, feel it with your feet.

(salsa music) Now, we're going to learn the basic salsa step.

You can do it standing up, or sitting down.

For this step, we're going to step back, and then return to the standing position, and then change.

Step back, standing position.

We're going to do it on a count.

1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7.

Now, with the music.

You can do this standing up, or sitting down.
