- Hi, I'm Cindy.
- Join us for a few moments while we look at the world through creative eyes.
(guitar music) Well, thanks for joining me today, Cindy.
- Oh, thanks for having me.
- I've brought with me this piece of artwork and I wondered if you wanted to take a look and answer some questions.
- That is really a strange (laughs) thing for somebody who painted.
I wonder where they got the idea of it.
- What are some things that you see and notice?
- Well, I would be terrified if I were the woman riding the bicycle, but she doesn't seem to know what's going on.
- [Christina] Yeah.
She's fairly oblivious.
- [Cindy] Oh, I just noticed the caption says safety first.
That really means something (chuckles).
Pay attention to where you're going and also pay attention to what might be ahead of you.
- Absolutely.
Where do you think that this person is going?
- I don't know.
I really have no idea where she's going.
I think she's going to school or work or someplace.
I don't, but I don't understand why she's looking back.
- Yeah.
- She's looking back for something and I don't really, I don't think she, I don't know if, she's not actually riding the bicycle, I guess.
So it's fairly safe to look back, but I don't know for that, with that happening, I don't think it's very safe, - Yeah.
(laughs) That's why it's safety first.
- Yeah.
- What do you think is gonna happen next?
- Well, that's the thing.
You don't know.
I think that's the point of the painting.
You don't know if it's gonna turn out to be friendly and, or it could actually harm her.
Now, if it were a movie, which reminds me of a movie that I've seen with this happening, I'm sure it would turn out well for her.
- Yeah.
- Because the movie, but in real life, I don't know.
It could be the end of her for all I know.
(laughs) - Well, let's hope they live happily ever after.
- Yeah.
I hope so.
- I'm curious, what is something that you wish you had been told or had known as a child?
- You look at where you're going at least.
- [Christina] Yes.
- You'll be much safer if you do that.
- Safety first.
Well, thank you so much, Cindy.
This was really great.
- Okay.
Thank you.
- How about you?
What do you see in this painting?
