Growing up in the Military, his father was stationed in Turkey for 2 years. There, Hunt learned Turkish, which did come in handy when he enlisted during the Vietnam war. He was sent to language school where he learned Vietnamese. 17 years old and naive about war, Hunt didn't think he's be part of combat, but when he was, he was terrified. Coming home, he was a changed person.
