Hi, I'm Janellyn.
This is Janellyn.
It's Janellyn.
Are you curious about careers in science?
I know I am.
Being on "Curious About Careers" has just been amazing.
(scientist laughing) I've gotten to interview some people in careers I didn't even know existed until I got to interview them.
And there's a career out there for everyone.
I've noticed that, for these people that I'm interviewing, they've pursued their passions and they've found something that fits exactly what they love.
Fasten your seat belts and enjoy the flight.
What I want other girls to take away from "Curious About Careers" is to show them what's out there.
Ooh!
I'm so grateful that I've had the opportunity to interview all these women.
And it's very inspiring to me to learn about what they do and to see what their day in the life is like.
At the end of each segment, I always say a little punny line that is related to the segment and the career that I'm looking at.
I had an eyeopening experience.
Spending my spare time.
Pilot Emily Coker passed her interview with flying colors.
Gotta jet!
(jet whooshing) Trying to come up with those is actually harder than I thought.
Anyway you slice it, you can make supreme pizza with STEM.
It's always a lot of fun trying to think about what I'm going to say and how it's going to relate.
What's the most rewarding part of working in the construction field?
- Other than occasionally meeting people like you?
(Janellyn laughing) - Part of being curious is asking lots of questions and that's something I hope to carry through into my career in the future.
Dispatch, we are on our way for "Curious About Careers."
I know I always want to be able to interact with people and ask questions, get answers, learn more about things.
I always say: Explore your possibilities!
Explore your possibilities!
Explore your possibilities!
- You've been waiting to do that all day, haven't you?
(interviewee laughing) - The whole purpose of that is to encourage people and remind them to explore what they love and what's out there, and to just keep asking questions and keep learning.
I had an awesome time.
I had a wonderful time.
I had an ultra-fun time.
Explore your possibilities!
