First, our harness.
We're gonna use the harness to tie into the rope, which goes all the way up here.
And I'll be tied onto the other side of the rope supporting you the whole time while you climb.
- What are those colored thingies?
- These are called holds.
You're gonna hold onto them while you climb up the wall.
- Why are they different colors?
- So you can know which one to start with.
Purple is for beginners.
You'll do this one today.
- Is it scary?
- It might seem scary, but actually it's super fun.
You'll be tied in, and I'll be holding on to it the whole time, so you'll always be totally safe.
