This is my friend Kaylen, and he's going on an adventure to bake a birthday cake!
- We're going to make a chocolate cake for a birthday cake today, OK?
- (Daniel): First you mix up all the ingredients.
There are dry ingredients like flour and sugar, and wet ingredients like eggs and butter.
Be careful!
That's called the batter.
Then you spread the batter out in a pan.
The baker puts the pan in the oven to bake.
The oven is really hot.
Icing is fun to make!
Let's make it... green!
That looks dee-licious!
- I'm going to let you start putting the stuff on the top because that's the special bit for you to do.
- (Daniel): That looks grr-ific!
- What does it taste like?
- Chocolate.
- Chocolate?
(woman laughing) - (Daniel): Yum, yum, yum!
Thanks for showing us the bakery, Kaylen!
