Today, we're visiting some friends at school.
This is classroom one, where they're making a special kind of paper.
Did you know paper can be wet and mushy before it dries?
Squish all the water out.
When it dries, it's flat, like the kind of paper we use to draw on.
In our second classroom, they're building animal shelters out of clay.
Shelter is another word fo r home, or a place to live in that is safe and dry.
These shelters are for toy animals.
In classroom three, the children are learning about clocks.
Clocks help us know what time of day it is.
Look!
They've made a pretend clock with numbers on the table.
It helps them practice telling time.
You can do it on the floor as well.
(Harriet laughs.)
And even pretend that you're the hands of a clock.
Paper... clay... and clocks.
What a great day at school!
