Let's spend some time with one of our neighbors!
♪♪♪ - Hi, my name is Thomas, and my friend Larry is gonna show me how to make apple cider.
Hi, Larry.
- Hi, Thomas!
How are you today?
- Good.
- You come to help me make some cider?
- Yes!
- Alright.
- Where are the apples?
- I can show you.
Right now they're in this big box.
We dump the big boxes of apples onto here where they go through at this machine right here and get washed.
Then they go up this elevator where they get dropped into a box that grinds them up into an apple sauce.
Then we pump it through a hose over here onto the cider press.
Push it under the center of the cider press that picks it up and squeezes all the juice out of it.
- Where does the cider go?
- The cider goes through this hose and out through the pipe.
Goes into a big tank until we're ready to use it.
You wanna check it out?
- Yep.
- This is where we bottle, Thomas.
You wanna help?
- Yeah.
Thanks, Larry.
- You're welcome.
Thanks for helping!
- OK. See you next time neighbor, bye!
- I like these visits with you!
