Deca Dance: Preview
Preview: Season 2019 | 30s
Deca Dannce by Israeli choreographer Ohad Naharin, originally created in 2000.
Israeli choreographer Ohad Naharin created this seminal work in 2000, and he continues to update it, exploring group dynamics and individuality. Though the piece is broken up into multiple distinct movements, his iconoclastic energy and wit are constant. It opens with a Passover song set to a heavy rock beat, and at one point, audience members dance joyfully onstage with the company.
