She's a design engineer.
What do you do, Connie?
>> I'm a design engineer at Nemo Equipment.
And we make tents.
I went to school in science and engineering.
A lot of people that I played sports with were doing really cool things in sport engineering, and I was thinking, "I really, really want to do this," because it took what I was passionate about and combined it with what I was good at.
This is the Nemo airbeam.
Let me pump this up a little bit.
The airbeams are the support structures for the tent.
My job is to make sure that they can perform up to spec.
We do a lot of testing.
This is our version of the wind tunnel.
We can incrementally increase that wind speed.
Everything is totally stationary.

>> Works for me.
>> Everything that is around you has been engineered by somebody.
You have so many possibilities to have a hand in something to make a difference, and engineering is a great way to do it.
