One of the great things about engineering is you get to work with moving parts, and one of the goals is try to get those moving parts to work better together.

I'm the one that made it work.

The designers primarily deal with the exterior of a product.

They decide how it looks.

The engineers work on the inside of the product, how it performs.

We've created a product that has a spotlight.

The spotlight tells you where to stand and shoot from.

A MC's voice tells you when you make a good shot, tells you when you make a swish, and tells you when you miss.

>> We put a number of sensors in different areas so that you can tell if you just hit the backboard or if you hit the backboard and you go in.

One of the best things about being a toy engineer is to be at a park and see people enjoying something that I put a lot of work into.
