The 9th annual celebration features spoken word poetry from the "Papa Was Project."

The 9th annual Detroit Bass Day celebrates the 50th recording anniversary of the song "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone," made famous by The Temptations, with fifty bass players coming together to play its iconic bass line. Producer Daijah Moss visits the celebration at the Motown Museum to learn more about the annual gathering and this year's theme of exploring family life and fatherhood.
