Owner says it has been a great experience to share his best friend with the school
Students at Sandyston Walpack Consolidated School in Sussex County are getting help from a furry friend who’s now like family. Every Friday, they get a visit from a 4-year-old certified therapy dog named Tyler. The 150 pound Great Pyrenees takes part in weekly reading sessions with the kids. The “Dog Tales” program was implemented at the school as a way to help students cope with the pandemic.
