Sunday April 14, 1935 was the day when a wall of black dust smothered the Southern Plains, and became known as Black Sunday. Memories of Black Sunday features the first hand recollections of area Dust Bowl survivors. They share where they were, what they were doing and how they felt as they witnessed the “mother of all dusters” on April 14, 1935.
