Eating Psychology with Betty 107

Episode 7 | 26m 30sVideo has Closed Captions

Why do you always have room for dessert?

We can feel full on one food, but not another. We get tired of the taste of the first food, so we stop eating or seek a different taste. This is why we always have room for dessert. This is also why we eat more when faced with a variety of tastes rather than a single taste, as in a buffet. We will explore how knowledge of this general principle can be used to help you change the foods you eat.
